Student assistant job: Tech Community Coordinator

Language: Fluency in English and basic understanding of Danish is a requirement. Fluency in additional launguages is a plus

Do you want to make a substantial impact in the lives of ReDI School learners? Are you an empathic people-person and would thrive as the main point of contact for our diverse community?

We are looking for a student assistant to support our program for women and non-binary who are looking to reskill and enter the Danish tech sector.

As our new Community Coordinator, you will support our learners’ journey and participation in career activities through communication, planning, and facilitating events/activities that foster a strong student community.

Our program offers free IT courses, 1-1 mentoring, workshops, and company visits to women with refugee and migrant backgrounds, and aims to increase digital inclusion in the labor market and diversity in the IT industry. You will work closely with the Tech Education & Career Program Manager and a team of colleagues to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students.

Your exact field of study is not as important as a motivated mindset and wanting to create a lasting impact for our students and community.

** Responsibilities **

Community management, communication and course facilitation

  • Host courses every Tuesday 5-8PM (Sep-Dec, Mar-Jun).

  • Manage daily communication via email and Slack.

  • Monitor learner attendance and wellbeing.

Learner recruitment, onboarding & offboarding:

  • Conduct outreach to NGOs.

  • Assist with info sessions, screening and group interviews (using our CRM Salesforce).

  • Update Student Handbook and manage Student Hub.

  • Send certifications and manage student agreements.

Career Program: communication & evaluation

  • Create and send out event evaluations.

  • Send calendar invitations and reminders, track registrations.

  • Update partners with learner lists and course information.

  • Interest in community management

  • Project coordination and organisational skills

  • Understanding of challenges to integrate in Danish society.

  • Team player with excellent social skills

About the position

You will be working at our office in Copenhagen NV. We are a passionate team, who inspire each other, collaborate across programs and share the practical workload at our events and courses.

We are flexible with planning your work hours around exams and study. You can expect 1-2 work days at our office, During the 3 month semester period you will work every Tuesday evening.
