Our educational goal is to provide students with useful knowledge that is appreciated by industry to support their accelerated integration into the Danish labor market and into Danish society.
Our participants are mainly refugees and migrant women who want to learn digital skills. In addition we work closely with companies and organizations looking to hire IT Talent, to address the shortage of skilled workers and the big gender gap in the IT sector in Denmark.
We value reliability, usefulness, care and playfulness.
7. Our program
The purpose of the statutes is realized in particular through support services for the economic and social integration of refugees in Denmark and in Europe, in particular through:
The provision of courses and training for women to gain digital skills, soft skills and work-related IT skills
The provision of laptops for the students
Workshops
Tech talks
Company visits
Contacts with potential employers and mentors
Help to build a professional network.
The program offers courses on two levels:
a) Beginner Level - "Digital in Society" and "Digital in Job"
Start: Very limited understand of computers and the digital world
Goal: Basic understanding of computers and the digital world to be used both privately and professionally
b) Advanced Level - "Cybersecurity", "Intro to Javascript", "Intro to Data Analytics", "UX" & "UI"
Start: Good understanding of computers and interest in coding, data analytics or UX/UI
Goal: Basic understanding of coding and programming, or UX/UI, and the opportunities it entails
Laptops, internet access, classrooms and study rooms are available throughout the course to all participants without cost to the participant.
In addition to technical skills, we also focus on the development of:

Professional soft skills (CVs, Interview Training, Linkedin Profile etc.)
Professional networking (company visits, TechTalks, conference visits etc.)
The teachers at ReDI School are mostly volunteers who have work experience in the technology or IT industry, as well as in the business sector. They can both share theoretical knowledge as well as explain how things work in practice. In addition, the teachers become role models and mentors by telling stories from their own careers, by giving advice on their own career paths and by opening doors to the companies they work for.

Workshops
Tech Talks
Virksomhedsbesøg
Kontakter med potentielle arbejdsgivere og mentorer
Hjælp med at opbygge et professionelt netværk
Bærbare computere, internetadgang og lokaler stilles til rådighed under kurser for alle deltagere uden omkostninger for deltageren.
Vi tilbyder kurser på to niveauer:
a) Begynderniveau - "Digital i samfund" og "Digital i Job"
b) Avanceret niveau - "Cybersecurity", "Intro to Javascript", "Intro to Data Analytics", "UX" og "UI"
Læs mere om vores kurser her.
Professionelle soft skills (Curriculum Vitae, Interviewtræning, Linkedin-profil osv.)
