As a volunteer teacher at ReDI School Malmö you support women with refugee and migrant backgrounds in creating new opportunities for themselves. You get the chance to shape and design the coursework in close cooperation with your co-teachers and learners. We promise you a lot of fun and the opportunity to build your social and educational skills.

Our mission at ReDI School is supported by the tech community in Malmö, who teach, mentor and support our students along the way.
You can volunteer in many ways: you can join as a teacher to teach the students digital skills, or you can join in other ways, e.g. by providing career support, doing a workshop or event. We are open for ideas!

Volunteer Teacher:
As a teacher at ReDI School, you have a diverse role. You help design the curriculum, plan classes, make material and teach the students.
You teach the students together with a team of other teachers. Teaching language is English and Swedish. Together, you help students develop their digital skills, while you develop your competences as teachers.Career Advisor:
ReDI School is looking for career coaches to help women with minority backgrounds getting a good start on their careers. We are looking for professionals who want to volunteer with one or more of the following activities:- Individual coaching
- Written guidance with applications, CVs or LinkedIn profiles
- Workshop facilitation about kickstarting your tech career -
Volunteer Teacher:
Passion for sharing Knowledge and skills; patience and openness
Explain concepts and challenges in simple language
Attend briefing and planning session
Plan course creation (we have a base of material that we update each semeste)
Coordinate with your teaching team and work flexible
Courses:
Digital Beginner (Computer For Everyday Life) - You will teach the student how to use:
How to work with a computer
Google products and MS Office
Internet Search
Navigate webpages like Arbetsförmedlingen and Skatteverket
UX/UI
Introduction to Data Analytics
