Course Overview

This course covers foundational concepts of backend development with MongoDB. You will learn how to create RESTful APIs with FastAPI, handle HTTP requests and responses, implement database schemas, optimize performance using caching techniques, and understand common software design patterns. You will to build scalable and secure backend applications using MongoDB and Python via assignments and a final project.

    • Design and implement RESTful APIs using FastAPI and MongoDB, including database schema design, query operations, and handling HTTP requests and responses

    • Secure their APIs and understand best practices for authentication and authorization

    • Optimize the performance of APIs using caching techniques and understand the benefits and limitations of different caching strategies

    • Apply common software design patterns to improve the maintainability and scalability of code

    • Job Readiness: Soft skills through career trainings geared towards preparing you for job applications & interviews, networking events and job fairs.

    • You will learn from experts in the industry to start a career in tech.

  • You can start looking for internships and junior positions in software development.
