Course Overview
This course will introduce you to the fundamentals of computer science, web development, data analytics, and user experience and interaction design. You will gain a solid understanding of the basic concepts underlying these fields so you can continue to study in your chosen path according to your goals. You will have ample opportunity for hands-on practice through weekly in-class assignments.

Computer science and programming
Write basic programs using Python, including the use of variables, loops, and functions.
Create simple, dynamic webpages using HTML, CSS, JS
Build simple web applications that include both frontend and backend components
Data analytics
Work with and manipulate large data sets (cleaning, preparation for analysis, visualisation) using Python
Analyse and interpret data in a business context
User experience and interaction design
Use design thinking to create user personas and journeys
Develop wireframes and prototypes and conduct usability testing to identify areas for improvement
Apply UX/UI design principles to create effective and efficient designs for websites and mobile apps
• Job Readiness: Soft skills through career trainings geared towards preparing you for job applications & interviews, networking events and job fairs.
• You will learn from experts in the industry to start a career in tech.

You speak English
You can commit to at least 10 hours a week (classes + self-study)
You are motivated to dive in to tech
You have a basic understanding of how to use computers, like working with files and documents, the internet, emails etc.

• You should expect to spend a minimum of 8 hours for career workshops or trainings during the semester.
Course Impressions
- Munich - Mix of self-paced and teacher-led sessions. One week of self-paced material and another week of teacher-led sessions.
- Mon & Tue OR Wed & Thu, 19:00 - 21:00 (fully online) - every other week
- Tue & Thu, 19:00 - 21:00 (hybrid) - every other week
