Course Overview

Join our advanced web development course to learn advanced Javascript and React.

You learn by implementing playful and valuable projects. Join this advanced course to take a big step toward your career as a web developer.

This is the advanced course in our Web Development Track.

  • Part 1: IDEs & Version Control with Git + GitHub

    • Part 2: JavaScript (Review)

    • Values, Types, and Operators

    • Program Structure

    • Functions

    • Data Structures: Objects and Arrays

    • Higher-order functions

    • ES6

    Part 3: React (JavaScript component library)

    • Components and Props

    • State, Lifecycle & Handling Events

    • Lists & Key

    • Forms

    Part 4: NodeJS

    Part 5: TypeScript

    Part 6: Other advanced tools (ExpressJS, Next.js…)

    Part 7: Final Project

    • You have a good understanding of JavaScript or have completed the ReDi course JavaScript I

    • You can commit at least 10 hours a week (classes + self-study), 80% attendance of the course is required for graduation

    • You can commit at least 8 hours for career workshops or trainings during the semester

    • You are able to understand and speak English

    • You have built websites with Javascript and React

    • You know how to start a website project
